Diwali - Festival of Lights & Kali Puja - Worship of Power against evils [2017] Episode 13

Diwali & Kali Puja is our another awesome celebration. Diwali is the festival of lights and Kali Puja is the worship of goddess Maa Kali. We celebrate this two festivals in the same night. We, Bengalee also call Diwali as Deepawali. Diwali is celebrated every month of October/November (Autumn) in India, Nepal & Bangladesh. In this day every Hindu decorates their home & temples with lights. Kali Puja is also known as Shyama Puja. In the same night of Diwali we celebrate it. The goddess Kali is the symbol of power against evil. In nowadays our city Kolkata wears glamorous attire & illumination. I framed some moments on my camera— (all photographs are original & taken by myself) --

Breaking News : Russian Regulator Intends to Allow Bitcoin Buying and Selling Abroad

An official from Russia’s Ministry of Finance has indicated the financial regulator now supports changes to a proposed law that would still ban bitcoin domestically but carve out provisions for its use as a foreign currency. One day at the Zoo -Episode #25

Two weeks ago I visited "Alipore Zoological Gardens" in Kolkata which is mostly known as "Alipore Zoo". It was founded in the year of 1875 in British India. And it was established by Edward VII, and then The prince of wales. This zoo is the biggest attraction of the tourists in the "City of Joy". However, the Alipore Zoo has some notable historical value as it's the most old zoological garden in India. The zoo was also famous for the home of "Aldabra giant tortoise". But, in 2006 the tortoise died at the age of almost 250. There are now over 1266 animals of 108 species are living in the Alipore Zoo.
