image credit On May 10 in Assam, India, a baby goat was born with one enlarged eye on its forehead. After birth a local veterinary checked the cyclopes kid and predicted that  the kid would only live within a few days. The optical nerves of this newborn cyclopes kid are not forming properly, so, the kid is now blind. It has also only one ear. And it has no eyelashes, eyelids, and nose.  image credit The kid has a special rare condition which is called Cyclopia. Cyclopia is a rare congenital disorder that happens in both humans and animals (mostly happens in horses, pigs, cows, cats and sharks). This occurs in the womb. The embryo's brain's frontal lobe did not isolate the left and right hemispheres. The result is the formation of a central cavity having one eye or sometimes partially fused or separate eyeballs.
