Food photographs in Ratha Yatra Fair

Yesterday I was busy to celebrate Ratha Yatra Festival in our locality. There I captured some photos of traditional Bengali foods. Here I share a few of them (All the photographs were captured during a heavy rain shower & night, so, quality is not so good)- Jalebi or, Jelapi Preparation of Jalebi What is Jalebi ? It's a traditional Bengali sweets and very popular like as Rossagula. The preparation method is simple - first you need to make a mixture with flour, oil & water.  - Then pour oil on fry pan.  - Pour the mixture of the flour in zig zag form to the fry pan. Fry in deep.  - When the zig zag raw Jalebi turns to brown color then remove them from pan - Take another pan. Pour sugar and make a thick sugar syrup. - Soak the zig zag raw Jalebi for at least 30-40 minutes. Remove them and keep them to absorb all syrup. - Your favourite Jalebi is now ready. The last weekend I tried this following dish. It's a very favourite dish in West Bengal, India. So, lets try this such a delicious recipe -- image credit Ingredients: (for 4-5 people) Basmati/Gobindobhog Rice - 200 gm. Moong/Masoor/Arhar Dal - 200 gm. Cumin powder - 2 tea spoon Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon Turmeric Powder - 1 tea spoon Ginger paste - 1/2 tea spoon Cumins (integrate)- 1 tea spoon Green Chili (chopped) - 4-5 pieces Chopped onion - 3 large size Garam Masala Powder - 1 1/2 tea spoon Potato (chopped) - 3 large size Tomato (chopped) - 2 medium size Cauliflower (chopped) - 1/2 Peas - 100 gm.
