            Another great festival Diwali & Kali Puja Diwali & Kali Puja is our another awesome celebration. Diwali is the festival of lights and Kali Puja is the worship of goddess Maa Kali. We celebrate this two festivals in the same night. We, Bengalee also call Diwali as Deepawali. Diwali is celebrated every month of October/November (Autumn) in India, Nepal & Bangladesh. In this day every Hindu decorates their home & temples with lights. Kali Puja is also known as Shyama Puja. In the same night of Diwali we celebrate it. The goddess Kali is the symbol of power against evil.             In the last week of December I celebrated my Christmas holidays in Digha by enjoying in Sea Beach with my brother, wife and nephew. I was absolutely fascinated with the glamour of sea beach in Digha. Blue sky, blue water and white sand ........ all are just awesome. We also ate a lot of sea foods and drunk so much pint of natural health drinks "Coconut Water". We played football and made some sand sculptures on the sea beach. I captured some moments.             What I Learnt Today : Pterodactyl was not only the flying dinosaur, There were many image source & credit :  LINK We are all familiar to Pterodactyl, the flying dinosaur. But, actually there existed so many flying dinosaurs. The common name of all this “flying dinosaurs” is Pterosaurs. There are about 130 genus of Pterosaurs existed in the jurassic period. Here I listed some of them — 1. Pterodactyl The Pterodactyls had a couple of very wide wings up to 40 feet long. But, these wings are not similar to modern bird’s wings. There were no feathers , their wings were made of a leathery substance. They lived near the sea in the cave & trees. They ate sea fish, large insects & other small dinosaurs.             Pond is the only source of drinking water in this village. Do you believe ?

            It is unbelievable that a pond (locally called Dighi) is the only source of drinking water for the entire village. But, it’s true. West Bengal is a state of India where I live in. Last year when I visited rural area of the southern part of Bengal I found this pond. There are only two arsenic polluted tube-well situated in the village.
