Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah”
Durga Puja is our awesome celebration. We praise each year in the month of October. It alludes to all the five days saw as Shashthi, Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami, Maha Nabami and Bijaya Dashami. In nowadays our city Kolkata wears glamorous attire & illumination. I framed some moments on my camera— (all photographs are original & taken by myself)

Buds of Mangifera Indica

I took this photo last spring when I visited rural area in India. Do you recognise it ? It's buds of  Mangifera Indica .  ha ha ........  Mangifera Indica  is the scientific name of  Mango . After growing from the seed a mango tree takes around 6-8 years to bear the first fruit. In the spring all trees are showing up their new leaves with young buds. Deadliest Ancient Indian Weapons

Today here I introduce some ancient destructive weapons which were used in India during 100 to 700 A.D.   My visit : Collections of ancient Indian weapons, Chennai Museum     10. Bhuj, Or Kirpan (Dagger)   image credit     image credit     image credit This kind of dagger were mostly used in India during duels. These daggers are small in shape & size, 6-10 inches long and 2-4 inches wide. Weight is up to 500 grams. This dagger is made of steel, jade, gold, diamond, emerald, ruby, agate etc. These daggers were not popular in the wars, only popular for hand-to-hand fighting.  09.
