ALERT ! Hackers are now selling hacked data (mainly login credentials) of uTorrent forum, mail.ru & yandex.ru on the darkweb

uTorrent’s security advisory has confirmed that a massive data breach occurred in June, 2016. Over 300K accounts got hacked. Hacker stolen users login ID & encrypted passwords. About 394,769 users passwords were stolen which are stored as encrypted with Secure Hash Algorithm 1 (SHA-1) & MD-5 Hash. On the darkweb marketplace a vendor called "DoubleFlag" put on this sell request.

Same thing happened to mail.ru , the famous Russian internet giant. Due to use of week MD-5 Hashing Algorithm mail.ru got hacked previously two times in July & August, 2016, when over 27 million accounts data were stolen. But, this time over 57 million accounts got hacked. And it is suspected that this hack was performed in May, 2016. All 57 million users passwords are encrypted with a very week MD-5 Hashing Algorithm. Experts say that these encrypted passwords are very easy to crack by operating brute force. On the darkweb marketplace a vendor called "saul_berenson" put on this sell request.

Another bad thing is happened to an another Russian giant search engine yandex.ru. Yandex got hacked previously numerous times. This time hacker manged to steal over 6.5 million users data. The most worried thing is that all the passwords were not encrypted, a huge portion of login credentials are stored on the yandex.ru server as plain texts. On the darkweb marketplace again same vendor "saul_berenson" put on this sell request of 659,5756 yandex.ru users hacked data.

Breaking News : Russian Regulator Intends to Allow Bitcoin Buying and Selling Abroad

An official from Russia’s Ministry of Finance has indicated the financial regulator now supports changes to a proposed law that would still ban bitcoin domestically but carve out provisions for its use as a foreign currency. In a new interview with state-owned newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta , deputy finance minister Alexei Moiseev said the change in tone is part of a broader effort to limit the use of alternatives to the ruble domestically, while removing uncertainty for those working with blockchain, its underlying distributed ledger technology. One day at the Zoo -Episode #25

Two weeks ago I visited "Alipore Zoological Gardens" in Kolkata which is mostly known as "Alipore Zoo". It was founded in the year of 1875 in British India. And it was established by Edward VII, and then The prince of wales. This zoo is the biggest attraction of the tourists in the "City of Joy". However, the Alipore Zoo has some notable historical value as it's the most old zoological garden in India. The zoo was also famous for the home of "Aldabra giant tortoise". But, in 2006 the tortoise died at the age of almost 250. There are now over 1266 animals of 108 species are living in the Alipore Zoo.
