(1) The Tonkin Snub-Nosed Monkey is one of the most endangered primate species in the world.
(2) Manatee calves nurse underwater from teats under their mothers flippers.
(3) The tongue of a Giraffe is so long it can lick inside its own ear.
(4) To escape the grip of a crocodile’s jaw, push your thumb into its eyeball – It will let you go instantly.

(5) Blue whales have large enough aortas (the main blood vessel) for a human to crawl through.
(6) When a rabbit is happy it will sometimes jump in the air twist it’s body. This is called a binky.

What I Learnt Today : Mokomokai is one of the most bizarre hobby in the world There are various hobby – collecting stamps, souvenirs, rare manuscripts & books, statues, paintings and so many curio. But, some people have a bizarre hobby to collect Mokomokai. What is Mokomokai ? Mokomokai is a collection of tattooed preserved heads of Māori. Māori are the native tribe of New Zealand. The decoration of heads with tattoo arts is called as tā moko tattooing. One day at the Zoo -Episode #26

Two weeks ago I visited "Alipore Zoological Gardens" in Kolkata which is mostly known as "Alipore Zoo". It was founded in the year of 1875 in British India. And it was established by Edward VII, and then The prince of wales. This zoo is the biggest attraction of the tourists in the "City of Joy". However, the Alipore Zoo has some notable historical value as it's the most old zoological garden in India. The zoo was also famous for the home of "Aldabra giant tortoise". But, in 2006 the tortoise died at the age of almost 250. There are now over 1266 animals of 108 species are living in the Alipore Zoo. In the last week of December I celebrated my Christmas holidays in Digha by enjoying in Sea Beach with my brother, wife and nephew. I was absolutely fascinated with the glamour of sea beach in Digha. Blue sky, blue water and white sand ........ all are just awesome. We also ate a lot of sea foods and drunk so much pint of natural health drinks "Coconut Water". Stuffed Animals Shots from Chennai Museum

Last month I visited Chennai Government Museum. There I gained a lot of experience. I’ll make a travel post soon about my museum tour.
